The Outreach Committee has divided the Outreach duties into several areas of responsibility in two main sections: Admin – the Outreach Chair and the Scheduler; and Events – the Host, the Welcome Table, the Junior Astronomer Table, and the Telescope Petting Zoo.
See below for a list of linked or downloadable supplies, training material, and merchandise you will need to properly perform your duties and staff events as currently envisioned (April, 2026).

- These are club scopes generally kept at the East Austin Area 51.2 facility. Currently (2/13/26) these are with Jeff Murray. Call or email for pickup.
- 8″ Orion Dobson with Telrad and optical finders and a Celestron zoom eyepiece.

- 4″ (105) Meade Maksutov-Cassegrain on a GoTo Alt/Az mount. We set this one up without the goto feature…manual motion.
