EEO Work Day is fast approaching and a few items are still needed! We’d love to borrow tools just for the day – even if you are not going to be at the event itself.

 Tools can be brought to the Observatory or hand over to our Equipment Chair, Domingo Rochin. You can loan the tools at the following times:

• Friday, May 13^th (before or after) the monthly meeting
• Saturday May 21^st  at the observatory during the Public Star Party
• Saturday, June 4^th day of the event.

Tools still needed include: 

• 2 hammers
• 1 power saw
• 1 power drill / drive
• 2 25’+ extension cords
• 3 shovels
• 2 pick mattocks
• 2 hoe
• 2 wheelbarrows

We’ve had so many great nights viewing, so many visitors, weather extremes, use and abuse of the site and our scopes, that it’s time to give back to our dark sky site and make sure it’s in its best condition for members and our visitors.
