Anyone within the path of totality can see one of nature\u2019s most awe inspiring sights &#8211; a total solar eclipse. This path, where the moon will completely cover the sun and the sun&#8217;s tenuous atmosphere &#8211; the corona &#8211; can be seen, will stretch from Salem, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. Observers outside this path will still see a partial solar eclipse where the moon covers part of the sun&#8217;s disk.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">From <a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse2017.nasa.gov\/\">https:\/\/eclipse2017.nasa.gov\/<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Central Texas will be between the 50% and 75% dividing lines, so approximately 60% of the sun will be covered.
