Other Activities
In addition to the regularly scheduled activities described above, the Austin Astronomical Society holds special-event star parties in cooperation with central Texas organizations. In the past, we have held "Family Night under the Stars" in Dripping Springs as well as star parties at McKinney Falls State Park, at the LBJ Ranch, and at special events organized by Motorola, the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, and the Girl Scouts of America.
